Hamburgers are a classic American dinner meal, especially in the summer months as we move firmly into Grilling Season. This twist on the classic hamburger is easy to execute and fun to make, however, it’s best made on a flat top vs. a grated grill. It goes great with a side of burger sauce for dipping.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 tablespoon onion powder
- 1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheese (I like Cheddar)
Process
- Preheat your griddle.
- Mix the onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic salt into the ground beef.
- Lay out the flour tortillas. Press 1/4 pound of beef onto one half of each tortilla.
- Place your tortillas meat-side down onto the griddle. Let cook for 3-4 minutes, then flip the tortillas over.
- Sprinkle 1/4 cup shredded cheese onto each burger.
- Fold the tortillas over, sandwiching the burger and cheese.
- Grill the tortillas for a few more minutes on each side.
- Serve! These are delicious with the previously-mentioned burger sauce.
