Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup softened unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- Zest of 1 orange
- 2 tbsp. orange juice
- 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
Process
- Preheat the oven to 350.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment, or use a silicon baking sheet (much easier).
- In a medium bowl: whisk the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate, larger bowl: cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg, vanilla, orange zest and orange juice and beat until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips.
- Drop uniform, tablespoon-sized balls of cookie dough onto your baking sheet.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
- Cool for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack and cool.
