This recipe makes a small, but potent, batch of highly addictive chocolate-chip-M&M cookies. Be warned: these cookies will be devoured before you know it, so maybe plan to make a couple of batches.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter (1 stick), softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/3 cups flour
- 1/4 cup vanilla instant pudding mix
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup mini M&M candies
Process
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with a silicone baking pad.
- In a mixer, cream the sugars and butter together with the whisk attachment. If you do not have a mixer, use a whisk and some muscle.
- Add the egg and vanilla, and beat until combined.
- Change to the paddle attachment (or switch to a wooden spoon) and, at slow speed, gradually mix in the flour, baking soda, pudding mix, and salt. Mix just until combined.
- Add the chocolate chips and M&Ms, and stir just until combined.
- Scoop the dough out onto the baking sheet into evenly-sized cookies.
- Bake for 10 – 12 minutes.
- Let cool for five minutes on the baking sheet, then transfer to a cooling rack.
- Enjoy!
