We planned to make Chicken Parmesan, but our day got derailed by a variety of chaotic family events and we were tired. Luckily, my wife had just purchased some festive Halloween-shaped chicken nuggets…so we made Chicken Nuggets Parmesan instead!

Ingredients
- 1 bag of chicken nuggets
- 1 jar of tomato sauce
- Mozzarella cheese
- Spaghetti noodles
- Garlic salt
- Ground black pepper
- Red pepper flakes
- Paprika
Process
- Preheat the oven per the instructions on your bag of chicken nuggets.
- While the oven heats, put a large pot of water on high heat, add a liberal dash of salt, and bring to a boil.
- While the water heats, put the sauce in a small saucepan. Add 1 tsp. garlic salt, 1 tsp. black pepper, 2 tsp. paprika, and a dash of red pepper flakes. Adjust the seasoning mix to your taste.
- When the oven is hot, put the chicken nuggets in. Set a timer for five minutes less than the instructions say.
- Meanwhile: cook the spaghetti in the pot. Drain and set aside.
- When the timer for the chicken nuggets goes off, take them out of the oven. Spoon the sauce over the nuggets, and then sprinkle them with mozzarella cheese. Return them to the oven for their final five minutes of baking.
- Serve the nuggets alongside spaghetti with sauce.
