What’s more fun than a slider? These tiny sandwiches are super fun to make for lunch or dinner. Filled with tasty lunchmeat and provolone cheese and brushed with garlic butter, you’re sure to enjoy these adorable little sandwiches.
Ingredients
The ingredients list for this recipe is a little fast and loose. We used 12 slices of each meat on our sliders, but you may want more or less meat on yours. You can also change up the meats — try adding capicola or using different varieties of ham!
- Slider rolls — we like King’s Hawaiian rolls
- 12 slices deli ham
- 12 slices genoa salami
- 12 sliced deli pepperoni (sandwich-style slices)
- Banana peppers
- Roasted red peppers
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp garlic salt
Process
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Slice the slider rolls in half, separating the top and bottom halves of the buns. Put the bottom half of the buns into a glass baking dish.
- Arrange the meats in layers on the bottom bun. We fold the sandwich meat over to thicken it up, but you can arrange it however you like.
- Layer the provolone on top of the meat.
- Sprinkle banana peppers and roasted red peppers over the provolone cheese.
- Put the top layer of the buns on.
- Melt the butter and then add the Italian seasoning and the garlic salt. Brush the butter mix onto the buns.
- Cover with foil and place into the oven for 20 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and transfer to a cutting board. Cool for 3-5 minutes, then slice into individual sliders with a sharp chef’s knife.
- Serve and enjoy!
