Teriyaki Sauce


You know it and love it. Teriyaki sauce is great for marinades, stir fries, and more!

Ingredients

The Sauce
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 3/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
the slurry
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch
  • 1/4 cup cold water

Process

  1. Place all of the ingredients from The Sauce into a saucepan. Cook over medium heat for five minutes, stirring occasionally, until the brown sugar has dissolved.
  2. Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl, whisk the corn starch and cold water together until the cornstarch is dissolved.
  3. Add the slurry to the sauce and cook for a further 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  4. Enjoy! Use this as a marinade or a stir-fry sauce.
