You know it and love it. Teriyaki sauce is great for marinades, stir fries, and more!
Ingredients
The Sauce
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 3/4 cup orange juice
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon minced ginger
the slurry
- 2 tablespoons corn starch
- 1/4 cup cold water
Process
- Place all of the ingredients from The Sauce into a saucepan. Cook over medium heat for five minutes, stirring occasionally, until the brown sugar has dissolved.
- Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl, whisk the corn starch and cold water together until the cornstarch is dissolved.
- Add the slurry to the sauce and cook for a further 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Enjoy! Use this as a marinade or a stir-fry sauce.
