This recipe is a classic preparation of pork chops. It’s served with zucchini for a nice addition from the garden.
Ingredients

- 4 pork chops
- Salt and pepper
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 1/2 tbsp. vegetable oil, divided
- 2 zucchinis, sliced into half-moons
garlic butter
- 4 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tbsp. basil
- 2 tsp. parsley
- 1 tsp. oregano
Process
- At least 30 minutes before cooking, season the pork chops with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat butter and 1 tbsp. vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the pork chops to the oil and cook for 5 minutes per side or to an internal temperature of at least 150 degrees.
- Meanwhile, prepare the garlic butter. Combine the butter, garlic powder, basil, parsley, and oregano and mix together until incorporated.
- Once the pork is cooked, rest it on a rack.
- Add the remaining 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil to the pan over medium heat. Let the oil heat until it is shimmery.
- Add the zucchini slices to the hot oil. Season with salt and pepper and cook for about 3 minutes. Remove from the skillet.
- Serve the pork chops with a dollop of garlic butter and a nice arrangement of zucchinis on the side.
