Why eat regular pork chops when you could eat these Korean pork chops?
Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 4 tbsp. honey
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tsp. sesame oil
- 4 tsp. ginger
- 2 tbsp. sweet chili sauce (I like Mae Ploy)
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
Process
- Whisk together the soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and sweet chili sauce.
- Pour half of the marinade over the pork chops in a glass baking dish. Reserve the remaining marinade.
- Let the pork chops marinate for at least 1/2 hour.
- Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium heat.
- When the skillet is hot, add the olive oil. Cook the pork chops for about 6 minutes on one side.
- Flip the chops. Add the reserved marinade and cook the pork chops another 6 minutes or so, or until the pork chops have reached an internal temperature of 160 degrees.
- Enjoy! Serve with rice, noodles, or whatever you like.
