Korean Pork Chops

Why eat regular pork chops when you could eat these Korean pork chops?

Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 4 tbsp. honey
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tsp. sesame oil
  • 4 tsp. ginger
  • 2 tbsp. sweet chili sauce (I like Mae Ploy)
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil

Process

  1. Whisk together the soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and sweet chili sauce.
  2. Pour half of the marinade over the pork chops in a glass baking dish. Reserve the remaining marinade.
  3. Let the pork chops marinate for at least 1/2 hour.
  4. Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium heat.
  5. When the skillet is hot, add the olive oil. Cook the pork chops for about 6 minutes on one side.
  6. Flip the chops. Add the reserved marinade and cook the pork chops another 6 minutes or so, or until the pork chops have reached an internal temperature of 160 degrees.
  7. Enjoy! Serve with rice, noodles, or whatever you like.
